| Ideas for busy leaders and
smaller churches: |
| Youth-
Traditional youth structure not working for you? Use a
servant format where your group helps widows, elderly
couples, or single moms with yard work and housework.
Meet back at the church for hot chocolate, a brief lesson
(use one of resources above), game, and prayer. Build
your work schedule with projects within your congregation, then look for
other opportunities with neighbors to your church building
and work outward. A rewarding experience for all and a good
witness. Ask your youth for suggestions of people that
may need help. |
| Young Adults or Singles-
Structure an easy fun night (bi-weekly or monthly) and build
relationships by having them meet at your house once per
week for pizza and a movie/game. While at your house,
build relationships and keep selling them on mission trips
and involvement with things they can get involved with at
church. |
| Youth/Young
Adult- Use your mid-week young people's meetings as a
Christian Movie Company. Develop and produce short web
videos with a message to put on your website and other
websites! This is a fun regular activity for any group
or sub-group that will keep your people spiritually focused.
Participants will also learn some great skills. You can
easily fill the time with this ongoing goal, allowing time
for a devotion, prayer, and a snack. See more info on
